TNA No Surrender Results 9/14/08

Booker T is out of the main event, because he didn’t make it to Toronto due to Hurricane Ike.  They have turned the previous 4 way match for the TNA Title to a three way with, Samoa Joe defending against Christian Cage and Kurt Angle.

Sting started off the PPV by cutting a promo, saying at Bound For Glory he will be challenging the winner of the main event tonight, for the TNA Title.  He compared himself to Bret Hart 10 years ago, saying he is looking for respect.

First match of the night is, Lance Rock/Jimmy Rave/Christy Hemme vs. Shark Boy/Curry Man/Super Eric.  Sharkboy hit Christy with a Stunner and Curry Man pinned her to get the win for his team.  Mostly a comedy match.

It came out for Xbox 360 and PS3 today, and will be released for the Wii on 9/16.  Will be buying.

Team 3-D Stays With TNA

Pwinsider is reporting that at tonight’s TNA’s show in NYC, Team 3-D “signed”  new contracts after letting the fans at the Hammerstein Ballroom decide whether or not they should sign with TNA or the other company (WWE).  The angle was taped for TNA Today so it should be online soon.

Mick Foley’s people released a statement concering his departure from WWE and where he is going next, TNA.  I wouldn’t doubt seeing him in ROH either, which will be just as awesome as the last time he was there.  I actually stood in line behind Foley at the Weekend Of Liger after party in NJ.  Dewey was with him and he looked like a teenager almost, it was weird seeing him all grown up.  A couple of my friends got a picture with him and talked to Foley but I was too much of a pussy.  He was being nice to everyone, it was awesome.  Hes a good dude.  Click below to read the statement issued on his behalf.

Update On Gail Kim

She got offered a shitload of money from WWE and will be working for them as soon as her TNA contract is up, which is soon.  It was purely a money issue.  Beth/Gail/Mickie are gonna have some sick matches.

Gail Kim Leaves TNA

Gail Kim has left TNA.  Thats pretty much all we got right now.  I could see her going back to WWE.  Maybe she just wants to leave wrestling all together.
