RAW Spoilers for 9/01/08
- Randy Orton opens the show. He says he is injured and that people like Santino, Beth Phoenix, Ted Dibiase, and Cody Rhodes are ruining RAW. He also says CM Punk is a disgrace to the World Heavyweight Belt. He said he wanted to take the belt from Punk tonight but he isn’t cleared to wrestle. Punk comes out and says that Orton is jealous and that he can’t worry about him because he has a big match tonight. Orton leaves, JBL comes out and says he is going to beat Punk for the title at the PPV this Sunday.
- Kofi Kingston defeated Charlie Haas. Haas came out dressed as John Cena, like he did last week as Carlito.
- Cody and Ted go up to Orton backstage. They told Orton to respect them. Orton asks Cody is he remembers him slapping his Dad. Orton slaps Cody.
- Teddy Long and Mike Adamle said they have made an agreement to hold a ECW Battle Royal tonight.
- Mark Henry defeated Finlay, Matt Hardy, The Miz, and Chavo Guerrero. Mark Henry eliminated everyone including Matt Hardy who was the last man left to be thrown out.
- Chris Jericho is shown out back signing papers for his match against HBK at the PPV Sunday.
- Jamie Noble w/Layla defeated William Regal.
- Candice Michelle/Mickie James/Kelly Kelly defeated Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix/Jillian Hall/Katie Lea. Fuck yea, Candice is back! We get to see her huge watermelons every Monday!!
- Santino Marella defeated DLo Brown.
- Cryme Tyme vs. John Morrison/The Miz was supposed to happen but Cody/Ted attacked Cryme Tyme and took their belts back.
- A video is shown backstage where Orton walks past Cody/Ted and they stare eachother down.
- Todd Grisham is backstage with Batista, and he asks him what his plan is. Batista says he is going to destroy everyone.
- Kane won the Battle Royal. Rey Mysterio was not apart of the match. Punk eliminated JBL and Batista. Kane eliminated Punk to win the match. Rey came out at the end and beat the shit out of Kane.
- Chris Jericho/HBK contract signing is the Main Event. Jericho tells the security to leave. Lance Cade comes out and Michaels kicks him several times in the head.
