Powerslam Magazine Interview With Bryan Danielson
You may have clocked up more air miles in recent weeks than any other wrestler. Talk us through your gruelling grappling schedule over the last month.
I did a WWE tryout in the States on a Monday (June 9). From there, I flew on the Wednesday to Mexico for a week, and wrestled in front of 19,000 people on the Friday (in a triple threat elimination match at AAA’s TripleMania spectacular). I flew back to the States and did a show in Chicago. Then, I flew to England and did the NOAH show (on June 21 in Coventry) and a show in Germany. Then, I flew back to the States and did ROH in Dayton before coming back to England to work for All-Star Wrestling last Monday (June 30). I’m in England for 2 weeks.
WWE - Saturday Night’s Main Event Results 8/02/08
JR and Lawler are on commentary. Punk is joining them for the opening match. I don’t know what the hell is going on. It is a 8 man match, but JBL came out first, followed by Cryme Tyme, THEN Cody and Ted come out. The order is all fucked up. Now here comes Cena. Now here comes Kane. Batista is out next. You can’t even tell what the fuck teams are. How stupid. Ok so really, it is Kane/JBL/Cody/Ted vs. Cena/Cryme Tyme/Batista. With pretty much the entire RAW roster in the match you would expect the crowd to be into it. They are DEAD right now. Cena gets tagged in, now the crowd is going nuts. JTG hit Ted with a Splash from the top rope and went for the pin, but the ref wouldn’t count because JBL was the legal man. JTG stood up turned around and took a Clothesline From Hell from JBL, and JBL pinned him for the win. Winners: JBL/Cody Rhodes/Ted Dibiase/Kane. Read the rest of this entry »

ROH - Respect Is Earned II PPV Results
Philadelphia, PA
Taped 6/7/08
Lenny Leonard and Dave Prazak are backstage in Philadelphia and introduces us to ROH’s second edition of their signature event, Respect Is Earned. To celebrate, they show a video of the happenings in the past year.
They show the video from Injustice, where the Briscoes won the Tag Titles from the Remorse Corps. But then 1 week later, in Chicago at Return Engagment, the Age Of the Fall injured Mark Briscoe and they had to vacate the belts. The night before this PPV was taped at Up For Grabs, the Age Of The Fall won a tag team tournament for the vacated belts and are the new ROH World Tag Team Champions. Tonight will be their first defense vs. Bryan Danielson and Austin Aries.
