Great American Bash Coverage SUNDAY AT 8PM EST, No Smackdown Coverage

Smackdown is pre-empted for me so I won’t be able to cover Smackdown tonight.  But I will be doing Great American Bash coverage this SUNDAY AT 8PMEST as it happens.  Expect frequent and fast updates for that PPV.  Thanks for checking us out!  Feel free to leave some comments whenever you want!

Match Added To Great American Bash

Matt Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin for the US title has been added to the PPV this Sunday.  Makes sense…CONSIDERING SHELTON IS ON SMACKDOWN NOW.  My guess is Shelton wins to get the title back on Smackdown.

TNA Announces First Non-United States PPV

TNA Impact Thoughts As It Happens 7-17-08

Impact starts off by showing a video of Victory Road from this past Sunday.

They are outside and Booker T and Sharmell and shown arriving to the arena.  Booker is wear a very fucking ugly fur coat.

Tenay welcomes everyone and says they will address the controversy surrounding last Sunday’s main event involving Booker, Joe, and Sting.  Booker’s music hits and he is on the way to the ring with Sharmell, carrying the TNA title.   Booker says he wants to say a few words.  He says he proved to the world that he can beat Samoa Joe and he is the greatest champion of all time.  Booker says in front of everyone he is going to raise the title and declare to everyone the new TNA champion.  Jim Cornette just said “wait one cotton picking moment”, you are going to hand that title over to me so he can deliver it back to the real champion Samoa Joe.  Cornette says if he wants the title belt he is going to have to wait for the rematch at Hard Justice, their next PPV.  Joe is on the way to the ring now.  Joe starts to talk but Booker interupts him.  Booker tells Joe that he knows he can’t beat him.  Joe tells Booker to shut his mouth.  Joe doesn’t understand how Booker can come out and call himself a champion when Joe beat him all over his hometown.  Joe says that Booker can keep his belt cause he would never take a hand out from a punk.  Joe said at Hard Justice he is going to take his belt back and a piece of Booker’s ass with it.  Booker gets in Joe’s face keeps saying that Joe can’t beat him on his best day.  Joe tells Booker to shine the belt up real nice for him, and tell the boogeyman Sting that when he is done with Booker he is going after Sting.

That was actually a really good segment, at least on Joe’s behalf.  Booker just kept yelling the same shit over and over.

Backstage interview with Beer Money.  Roode says tonight is fan’s revenge, its Beer Money’s revenge and that they will do what they want to do.  He says they are going to whip and brutalize the fans.
